Section 1. Policy

It is the policy of the Right To Rebel to provide dedicated members credit and awards for their achievements. It is to our members we credit the success of our Community. Therefore from today on forward, Right To Rebel will credit deserving members with medals and awards as recognition for their commitment and merits.

Under the following criteria, medals and awards will be awarded.

  1. in any action against an opposing team or community against Right To Rebel;
  2. in any action with an opposing community in which the forces of Right To Rebel are or have been engaged;
  3. while serving with friendly community forces engaged in a conflict against an opposing force in which the Right To Rebel is not a belligerent party;
  4. as the result of an act of any such enemy or opposing force;
  5. as the result of an act of any hostile community force;

Sec. 2. Establishment of the Institute of Heraldry

The Secretary of the Institute of Heraldry shall establish in the Institute of Heraldry in order to create new, edit existing, and approve and deny awards. The Secretary shall be selected by the Community Leader and shall be appointed by and report directly to the Community Leader. The secretary will appoint no more and no less than 2 Coordinators. If not enough information is submitted, or the form submitting officer can not be contacted, the award application can be put on hold. A simple Yay or Nay will be used in the thread as a reply to keep time and simplicity in mind.

Sec. 3. Mission and Functions

A Personnel Action Form (PAF) or Form must be submitted by the OIC of the corresponding department, requesting the member be evaluated and recognized for their actions. The Platoon Leader of Bravo & Charlie platoons will submit a PAF or Form indicating that a member should be recognized for an award. The Company Commander must approve the application before it continues further.

The awards will be applied for through the Awards Form. If not available, the PAF Format will include: The member’s name receiving the award, the Member’s unit, the reward being applied for, and a citation of what the member did to deserve the award. Further evidence that they deserve the award will assist during board evaluation.

Once the PAF is filed, it will be reviewed by the reviewing party. They will decide, along with the OIC’s input, if the award will be given. Upon approval, MILPACS staff will use the information provided on the original/modified PAF, and submit that into the MILPACS system on that user’s roster page.

The following reasons are used to rescind awards. The award was given out erroneously; as in the member provided false proof of participation. Member is charged with dishonorable conduct during period of when the award was being applied for.

Sec. 4. Duties of Heads of Departments and Agencies

Heads of executive departments and agencies shall respond promptly to any request by the Coordinator, and shall, consistent with applicable law, provide such information as the Coordinator deems necessary to carry out the Coordinator's mission, and shall otherwise cooperate with the Coordinator to the greatest extent practicable to facilitate the performance of the Coordinator's mission.
