In Right to Rebel, Sergeant First Class (SFC) is a rank (Administratively known as Sergeant First Class E-7 (SFC)). The Sergeant First Class is the Platoon level NCO. He has proven himself not only an excellent Squad Leader in the past, but also an effective Platoon Sergeant. He has become a force to be reckoned with inside the Company and a trusted advisor and counselor to all junior NCOs and officers. Sergeants First Class are the very definition of "Senior NCO".

Requirements

  • No Negative Counseling Statements during the last sixty (60) days.
  • No Article 15 in the last sixty (60) days.
  • Important part of platoon and Secondary Billet activities.
  • Assigned to a Platoon Sergeant Billet or assigned as NCOIC of a department.
  • Demonstrated success as a Platoon Sergeant.
  • Shows leadership in all areas.
  • Ability to assist the First Sergeant where necessary.
  • Completion of NCO Academy.
