Section 4 Recruiting OPORD

SITUATION.

The Section 4 (S-4) shop is responsible for being the final step in recruiting potential public players into Right to Rebel. S4 is also responsible for indoctrinating recruits (E-1) and guiding them until they become Privates (E-2).

a. Friendly Forces.
(1) Higher Headquarters’ Mission and Intent:
(i) Right To Rebel Community
(a) Mission:
Right To Rebel will successfully recruit and maintain membership in order to keep our community alive and functioning.
(b) Commanders Intent:
Continue to recruit members into Right To Rebel in order to keep our ranks are flourishing with content and motivated individuals. Furthermore, Right To Rebel will maintain its membership so that all leadership positions are filled with motivated and disciplined people.
(ii) 1st Division
(a) Mission:
Right To Rebel 1st Division will successfully maintain a recruiting section in order to establish a solid foundation of member ship within our companies.
(b) Commander's Intent:
Right To Rebel 1st Division will maintain the following positions within Section 4 so that members can continue to be recruited into Right To Rebel:
1. S4 OIC
2. S4 NCOIC
3. 2x S4 Recruiters

MISSION.

Section 4 recruiting will continue to recruit interested and promising public players into Right To Rebel in order to maintain or surpass our community’s current levels of membership ensuring that Right To Rebel keeps pace with other internet gaming communities.

EXECUTION.

I. Commander's Intent
(i) Purpose:
To successfully recruit people into Right To Rebel and maintain our communities membership foundation.
(ii) Key Tasks:
1. Maintain S4 OIC, NCOIC, and 2 recruiter positions
2. Meet with membership sponsors
3. Approve or Deny applicants
4. Wait for S-2 to clear applicants
5. Check applications at minimum once a day
II. Concept of operations:
(a) Phase 1 (Sponsorship)
This phase begins with all Right to Rebel members at and above the grade of E-4 understanding that they are eligible to sponsor promising recruits into Right to Rebel. Decisive to this phase is members at and above E-4 understand where to get a sponsorship key/link and how to contact a recruiter. The Sponsorship form can be found under Bans & Forms on the main Right to Rebel website on the front page. This is decisive because if people do not know where or how to sponsor an applicant, applicants cannot successfully apply to Right to Rebel. This phase ends when a recruitment application is submitted.
(i) Key Tasks:
(1) In community meetings, continue to mention that E-4s are eligible to sponsor.
(2) Community understanding of the sponsorship process.
(b) Phase II (Recruitment Application & Acceptance):
This phase begins with the applicant submitting an application to the S4 recruit application inbox on the forums. Decisive to this phase is S4 Recruiting continuously checking recruitment applications and approving/denying applicants. This is decisive because S4 is the buffer between public players becoming community members, and if S4 does not perform their duties, new membership will cease. S-2 will then take the application and perform a background check. Once S2 is finished, S4 will begin in processing the applicant. This phase ends upon both S4 and S2 approval.
(i) Key Tasks:
(1) Daily check of the recruit application inbox.
(2) Approving or denying the application depending on S4 or S2 findings.
(3) Notifying the applicant they are approved to be recruited.
(c) Phase III (Recruitment Welcoming):
This phase begins once the applicant has been contacted by S4 recruitment and is in TeamSpeak with a recruiter. Decisive to this phase is a recruiter meeting with the new recruit following the handbook found in ANNEX 1-S4. This is decisive because a recruit needs to know how to be successful and how to behave as a Right To Rebel Member. Once the recruit has been successfully recruited, they will meet back with their recruiter in one month. This phase ends when the recruiter and Recruit finish their initial meeting.
(i) Key Tasks:
(1) Recruiter reads the rules, code of conduct, and ANNEX 1-S4 to the recruit.
(2) They establish when the member needs to get back with the recruiter to promote to E-2 via a PAF.
(d) Phase IV (Promotion to E-2):
This phase begins when the recruiter and recruit meet at minimum one month after becoming a recruit. Decisive to this phase is the recruiter teaching the recruit how to submit a grade & rank change PAF. This is decisive because recruiters are responsible for ensuring members know how to submit their initial PAFs. Once the PAF is submitted, the recruiter will give the recruit his E-2 tags in TeamSpeak. This phase ends when the new private successfully submits his PAF and receives his new rank in TeamSpeak.
(i) Key Tasks:
(1) Recruiter meets with recruit no less than one month after recruitment.
(2) Recruiter helps member with PAF.
(3) Recruiter grants member with E-2 tags.
(III) Scheme of Maneuver
Omitted
(IV) Assessment:
Recruit (E-1) becomes a Private (E-2) without any VCS or NCS’s or other issues.
(V) Tasks to Subordinate Units:
S4 OIC
(i) Ensure that the NCOIC understands their position is to be a secondary S4 recruitment trainer, and knows how to properly train recruiters. This is the S4’s most senior enlisted member.
(ii) Ensure at least 2 recruiters are active members at all times.
(iii) Put in promotion PAFs for S4 staff based on rank guidelines. Provide a citation/reason as to why the recruiter is being promoted.
(iv) Will be the primary OIC of S4 and report directly to the Division Commander.
S4 NCOIC
(i) Ensure that all recruiters are fulfilling their duties as recruiters. The NCOIC will recommend to the OIC if any recruiters should be removed from S4 at any time due to wrong doing or inactivity.
(ii) The NCOIC will be a secondary trainer besides the OIC, to train the recruiting staff until they become full recruiters. Before then they are only Recruiters in training until the successful recruitment of 2 or more recruits.
S4 Recruiter

(ii) Will ensure that the Rules, Code of Conduct, and ANNEX 1-S4 are briefed to the incoming recruit.
(iii) Will submit PAF for recruits rank & grade change to E-2.
