A Squad Leader is the non-commissioned officer in charge of a Squad. His direct superior is the Platoon Sergeant.
Role
The Squad Leader, leads the troops under his command. He is also the point of contact to the Chain of command to all those under his command.
Responsibilities
The Squad Leader is responsible of the following duties;
- Posting roll call.
- Transmitting various reports to the Platoon Sergeant.
- Conducting Squad practice.
- Relay information transmitted to him from the chain of command to the personnel under his command.
- Perform administrative duties and paper work associated with his Squad. (ex: NCS, Commendation)
